Celebrating 25 Years of Child Rescue Nepal: House of Lords Reception

Senate Publishing Chairman, Lord David Evans of Watford, and Lord Tony Clarke of Hampstead were delighted to sponsor and host the Child Rescue Nepal, House of Lords evening reception on 14th of May. This special event offered a unique opportunity to recognise and thank high-profile and influential supporters for their unwavering support of the charity.

Lord Evans warmly welcomed all guests in the River Room with his opening speech, where he talked about the incredible job that the charity performs in rescuing young children from slavery. To provide education and vocational training to these children, giving them a real opportunity in life to do well.

Following his welcome, Joanna Bega, Chief Executive of Child Rescue Nepal, delivered an inspiring speech, providing an update on the charity’s groundbreaking work and progress.

Child Rescue Nepal is a UK charity that has been rescuing and caring for vulnerable children in Nepal since 1999. Over the past 25 years, their dedication and commitment have transformed countless lives, offering safety, education, and hope to children in need.
